There are many things to consider when you buy a solar system. It is easy to make a mistake and purchase the wrong system, or one that has unreliable components. We support consumers doing their own research online, but there are many opposing opinions online and its hard to get definitive answers. After 10 years’ experience in the industry we know what works and what doesn’t. And we pride ourselves in giving honest advice (even if it means we don’t get your business).
Our solar sizing approach is data-driven. We use Scout Energy loggers that measure your consumption in you home and/or business by connecting a Scout logger to your distribution board. Current clamps then capture actual consumption data and this data is sent to the cloud for a period of around 2 weeks. Your unique energy consumption profile is then created and analysed. The solar system will be sized according to your actual usage based on factors including; total consumption, average consumption, peak consumption and a day/night breakdown of consumption.
We also suggest the system based on the goals that you would like to achieve, whether that be providing power for someone who works from home during load shedding or significantly reducing operating expenses for a large business. Cedar Solar has been in the industry since 2010, we are accredited and we don’t take shortcuts. You will get a reliable solar system that delivers as expected.
